Born in Dublin, Declan began his career in hairdressing in 2000 and in 2003 moved to London to work as a Stylist, Colour Technician, Educator and Artistic Director at the Toni & Guy London Academy.
Declan gained recognition for his work as finalist at various L'Oreal and Wella competitions and winner of numerous hairdressing awards. In 2008 Declan was awarded Master Colour Expert at the Wella World Studio London.
Now a committed provider of educational training at the Andrew Barton Salon, Declan's impressive technical and creative abilities, warm manner and open personality are key to his success in helping junior members of the team develop their skills.
Currently requested for various show work including London Fashion Week, Declan's photographic work has appeared internationally in publications including Cosmopolitan, Candy and Fashion Victim. As a key member of the Andrew Barton Artistic Team, Declan has worked on multiple shows and shoots throughout 2010.
Declan's expert cutting technique and eye for fashion forward styles makes him an ideal addition to the Andrew Barton Team, as well as being one of the salons 'Colour Experts', his growing client list is testament to his hairdressing talent.
